Kidz Bop Kids’ Life of The Party, a live tour featuring kids performing contemporary popular songs is coming to the Concord Pavilion!
Kidz Bop is a brand of compilation albums consisting of kid-friendly versions of today’s biggest pop music hits. The idea was developed in 2001 by Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam; co-founders of the record label Razor and Tie. The albums consist of popular songs that chart high on the Billboard Hot 100 along with receiving heavy airplay on mainstream radio stations several months prior to each album's release. The albums are recorded by session musicians, singers, and a chorus of child singers called the Kidz Bop Kids. The compilations are extremely popular with families who want cleaned-up versions of popular songs and Kidz Bop has sold more than 16 million albums since its debut. The brand has also expanded to include merchandise, music videos, and a live touring division. It recently held a nationwide casting call to find a new group of talented young performers to sing on the albums, star in TV commercials and music videos, and travel across North America as part of the Kidz Bop Kids live tour. Thousands of kids from across the country auditioned to be part of a cast of four singing and dancing show stoppers that Billboard magazine has called the “#1 Kids’ Artist” in the US.
Don’t miss your chance to see this live concoction composed of various children's choruses interpreting pop hits!
