Kevin Hart, Philadelphia's sensational and multi talented comedian is bringing his indelible comedy to the Concord Pavilion!
Kevin Darnell Hart was born in Philadelphia in 1979 and is an actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He made a name for himself by winning several amateur competitions at comedy clubs throughout New England and his breakthrough came in 2001 when Judd Apatow (renowned comedian and film/television producer, writer, director and actor) chose him for a recurring role in the Fox sitcom, Undeclared. His comedic style is best described as a blend of observational comedy, black comedy (a genre – also known as dark comedy - that makes light of subject matter that is generally considered taboo), surreal comedy (a form of humour predicated on deliberate violations of causal reasoning, producing events and behaviours that are obviously illogical), satire, self-deprecation, and he jokes about various topics such as African-American culture, American politics, current events, everyday life, human sexuality, marriage, parenting, pop culture, race relations, and racism. He's had a stellar career with 5 comedy albums and roles in many TV shows and hit films (Think Like a Man, Grudge Match, Ride Along, and many others). He's won many awards and Time magazine included him on its 2015 list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
